¹⁴ With kings and counselors of the earth,
Who ^(A)built ruins for themselves,

^6 (A)The tents of robbers prosper,
And those who provoke God are secure—
In what God provides by His hand.

^7 (A)Why do the wicked live and become old,
Yes, become mighty in power?

²³ He gives them security, and they rely on it;
Yet ^(A)His eyes are on their ways.

^35 (A)Oh, that I had one to hear me!
Here is my mark.
Oh, ^(B)that the Almighty would answer me,
That my ^[a]Prosecutor had written a book!

¹⁵ And now, because He has not ^(A)punished in His anger,
Nor taken much notice of folly,

¹² Behold, these are the ungodly,
Who are always at ease;
They increase in riches.

12 Righteous ^(A)are You, O Lord, when I plead with You;
Yet let me talk with You about Your judgments.
^(B)Why does the way of the wicked prosper?
Why are those happy who deal so treacherously?
