²⁴When a land falls into the hands of the wicked,^(A)
he blindfolds its judges.^(B)
If it is not he, then who is it?^(C)

²⁴The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?

²⁸I go about blackened,^(A) but not by the sun;
I stand up in the assembly and cry for help.^(B)

²⁸I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.
