⁵The hungry consume his harvest,^(A)
taking it even from among thorns,
and the thirsty pant after his wealth.

⁵Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance.

¹⁰His children^(A) must make amends to the poor;
his own hands must give back his wealth.^(B)

¹⁰His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.

³⁷Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’^(A) is true.

³⁷And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
