²¹ Under the lotus plants he lies,

    and the branches of Egypt's Nile will diminish and dry up,
    reeds and rushes will rot away.

    Pharaoh king of Egypt,

    I made it for myself.’

    and make the fish of your streams stick to your scales;
and I will draw you up out of the midst of your streams,
    with all the fish of your streams
    that stick to your scales.

“You consider yourself ^(D)a lion of the nations,
    but you are like ^(E)a dragon ^(F)in the seas;
^(G)you burst forth in your rivers,
    trouble the waters with your feet,
    and foul their rivers.
