Job 40:12

¹²look at all who are proud^(A) and humble them,^(B)
crush^(C) the wicked where they stand.

¹²Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.

⁴⁰he who pours contempt on nobles^(A)
made them wander in a trackless waste.^(B)

⁴⁰He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.

²When the commander^(A) of the guard found Jeremiah, he said to him, “The Lord your God decreed^(B) this disaster^(C) for this place.^(D)

²And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, The Lord thy God hath pronounced this evil upon this place.
