¹⁰ and prescribed bounds for it,
    and set bars and doors,^(A)

¹¹ and said, ‘Thus far shall you come and no farther,
    and here shall your proud waves be stopped’?^(A)

⁹ You set a boundary that they may not pass,
    so that they might not again cover the earth.^(A)

²² Do you not fear me? says the Lord;
    Do you not tremble before me?
I placed the sand as a boundary for the sea,
    a perpetual barrier that it cannot pass;
though the waves toss, they cannot prevail;
