22 neither can we gaze at the terrible majesty of God breaking forth upon us from heaven, clothed in dazzling splendor. 23 We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty, and yet he is so just and merciful that he does not destroy us. 24 No wonder men everywhere fear him! For he is not impressed by the world’s wisest men!”

22 Out of the north he comes in golden splendor;(A)
God comes in awesome majesty.(B)
23 The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power;(C)
in his justice(D) and great righteousness, he does not oppress.(E)
24 Therefore, people revere him,(F)
for does he not have regard for all the wise(G) in heart?[a]”
