¹⁰He makes them listen^(A) to correction^(B)
and commands them to repent of their evil.^(C)

¹⁰He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.

¹⁵He delivers the afflicted by their affliction
and opens their ear by adversity.^(A)

¹⁵But those who suffer^(A) he delivers in their suffering;^(B)
he speaks^(C) to them in their affliction.^(D)
