¹¹ For according to ^(A)the work of a man he will repay him,
    and ^(B)according to his ways he will make it befall him.

¹²     and that to you, O Lord, ^(A)belongs steadfast love.
For you will ^(B)render to a man
    according to his work.

¹² If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,”
    ^(A)does not he who ^(B)weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not he who ^(C)keeps watch over your soul know it,
    and will he not repay man ^(D)according to his work?

(C)to give every man according to his ways,
    according to the fruit of his deeds.”
