⁷if my steps have turned from the path,^(A)
if my heart has been led by my eyes,
or if my hands^(B) have been defiled,^(C)

¹⁴^(A)Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him ^(B)without spot or ^(C)blemish, and ^(D)at peace.

¹⁴So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless^(A) and at peace with him.
