⁷ he will perish forever,^(A) like his own dung;
    those who have seen him will say, ‘Where is he?’^(B)

¹³ Yet you say, ‘What does God know?^(A)
    Does he judge through such darkness?^(B)

⁹ Does God listen to their cry
    when distress comes upon them?^(A)

¹³ Indeed, God does not listen to their empty plea;
    the Almighty pays no attention to it.^(A)
