⁷The steps of his strength are shortened,
And ^(A)his own counsel casts him down.

⁷The vigor^(A) of his step is weakened;^(B)
his own schemes^(C) throw him down.^(D)

⁷The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

³⁶You enlarged my path under me,
^(A)So my feet did not slip.
