¹⁶ His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.

¹⁹ He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.

¹⁰ Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

²⁸ For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

⁴ Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
