And escape will ^(B)perish from them;
And their ^(C)hope is ^(D)the expiring of their soul.”

¹⁶ This also will be my ^(A)salvation,
For ^(B)a godless man may not come before His presence.

³⁴ For the company of ^(A)the godless is barren,
And fire consumes ^(B)the tents of ^[a]the corrupt.

⁸ For what is ^(A)the hope of the godless ^[a]when he is cut off,
When God requires ^(B)his ^[b]soul?
