¹⁴ but they have ^(A)walked according to the ^[a]dictates of their own hearts and after the Baals, ^(B)which their fathers taught them,”

¹¹ then you shall say to them, ^(A)‘Because your fathers have forsaken Me,’ says the Lord; ‘they have walked after other gods and have served them and worshiped them, and have forsaken Me and not kept My law.

¹² And you have done ^(A)worse than your fathers, for behold, ^(B)each one ^[a]follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me.

¹³ Yet the house of Israel ^(A)rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes; they ^(B)despised My judgments, ^(C)‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; and they greatly ^(D)defiled My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them in the ^(E)wilderness, to consume them.

^16 (A)because they despised My judgments and did not walk in My statutes, but profaned My Sabbaths; for ^(B)their heart went after their idols.
