32 So the days are coming,” says the Lord, “when it will not be called Topheth any more, or the valley of the son of Hinnom. But it will be called the valley of Killing. For they will bury in Topheth because there is no other place. 33 The dead bodies of these people will be food for the birds of the sky and for the wild animals of the earth. And no one will send them away in fear. 34 Then in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, I will put an end to the voice of joy and the voice of happiness, the voice of the man to be married and the voice of the bride. For the land will become a waste.

32 So beware, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when people will no longer call it Topheth or the Valley of Ben Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter,(A) for they will bury(B) the dead in Topheth until there is no more room. 33 Then the carcasses(C) of this people will become food(D) for the birds and the wild animals, and there will be no one to frighten them away.(E) 34 I will bring an end to the sounds(F) of joy and gladness and to the voices of bride and bridegroom(G) in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem,(H) for the land will become desolate.(I)
