Jeremiah 6:8-10
Living Bible

8 This is your last warning, O Jerusalem. If you don’t listen, I will empty the land. 9 Disaster on disaster shall befall you. Even the few who remain in Israel shall be gleaned again, the Lord Almighty has said; for as a grape-gatherer checks each vine to pick what he has missed, so the remnant of my people shall be destroyed again.

10 But who will listen when I warn them? Their ears are closed, and they refuse to hear. The word of God has angered them; they don’t want it at all.

Jeremiah 6:8-10
New International Version

8 Take warning, Jerusalem,
    or I will turn away(A) from you
and make your land desolate
    so no one can live in it.”

9 This is what the Lord Almighty says:

“Let them glean the remnant(B) of Israel
    as thoroughly as a vine;
pass your hand over the branches again,
    like one gathering grapes.”

10 To whom can I speak and give warning?
    Who will listen(C) to me?
Their ears are closed[a](D)
    so they cannot hear.(E)
The word(F) of the Lord is offensive to them;
    they find no pleasure in it.
