Jeremiah 6:15-17
1599 Geneva Bible
15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not ashamed, no neither could they have any shame: therefore they shall fall among the [a]slain: when I shall visit them, they shall be cast down, saith the Lord.
16 Thus saith the Lord, Stand in the ways and behold, and ask for the [b]old way, which is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls: but they said, We will not walk therein.
17 Also I set [c]watchmen over you, which said, Take heed to the sound of the trumpet: but they said, We will not take heed.

Jeremiah 6:15-17
New International Version
15 Are they ashamed of their detestable conduct?
No, they have no shame at all;
they do not even know how to blush.(A)
So they will fall among the fallen;
they will be brought down when I punish(B) them,”
says the Lord.
16 This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,(C)
ask where the good way(D) is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest(E) for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
17 I appointed watchmen(F) over you and said,
‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’(G)
But you said, ‘We will not listen.’(H)
