23 There were ninety-six [a]exposed pomegranates; all (A)the pomegranates numbered one hundred on the network all around.

24 Then the captain of the guard took (B)Seraiah the chief priest and (C)Zephaniah the second priest, with the three [b](D)doorkeepers of the temple. 25 And from the city he took one official who was overseer of the men of war, and seven [c]of the (E)king’s advisers who were found in the city, and the scribe of the commander of the army who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the midst of the city.

24 The commander of the guard took as prisoners Seraiah(C) the chief priest, Zephaniah(D) the priest next in rank and the three doorkeepers.(E) 25 Of those still in the city, he took the officer in charge of the fighting men, and seven royal advisers. He also took the secretary(F) who was chief officer in charge of conscripting the people of the land, sixty of whom were found in the city.
