15 (A)Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive some of the poor people, the rest of the people who remained in the city, the defectors who had deserted to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the craftsmen. 16 But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left some of the poor of the land as vinedressers and farmers.

17 (B)The (C)bronze pillars that were in the house of the Lord, and the carts and the bronze Sea that were in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans broke in pieces, and carried all their bronze to Babylon.

15 Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard carried into exile(A) some of the poorest people and those who remained in the city, along with the rest of the craftsmen[a] and those who had deserted(B) to the king of Babylon. 16 But Nebuzaradan left behind(C) the rest of the poorest people of the land to work the vineyards and fields.

17 The Babylonians broke up the bronze pillars,(D) the movable stands(E) and the bronze Sea(F) that were at the temple of the Lord and they carried all the bronze to Babylon.(G)
