Jeremiah 51:57-59

57 And I will [a]make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her dukes, and her nobles, and her strong men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose Name is the Lord of hosts.
58 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, The [b]thick wall of Babel shall be broken, and her high gates shall be burnt with fire, and the people shall labor in vain, and the folk in the fire, for they shall be weary.
59 The word which Jeremiah the Prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babel, in the [c]fourth year of his reign, and this Seraiah was a peaceable Prince.

Jeremiah 51:57-59
New International Version
57 I will make her officials(A) and wise(B) men drunk,(C)
her governors, officers and warriors as well;
they will sleep(D) forever and not awake,”
declares the King,(E) whose name is the Lord Almighty.
58 This is what the Lord Almighty says:
“Babylon’s thick wall(F) will be leveled
and her high gates(G) set on fire;
the peoples(H) exhaust(I) themselves for nothing,
the nations’ labor is only fuel for the flames.”(J)
59 This is the message Jeremiah the prophet gave to the staff officer Seraiah son of Neriah,(K) the son of Mahseiah, when he went to Babylon with Zedekiah(L) king of Judah in the fourth(M) year of his reign.
