13 Because of the wrath of Yahweh she will (A)not be inhabited,
But she will be (B)completely desolate;
Everyone who passes by Babylon (C)will be in desolation
And will hiss because of all her wounds.
14 Arrange your battle lines against Babylon on every side,
All you who [a]bend the bow;
Shoot at her, do not be sparing with your arrows,
For she has (D)sinned against Yahweh.
15 Raise a loud shout against her on every side!
She has (E)given [b]herself up, her pillars have fallen,
Her (F)walls have been pulled down.
For this is the (G)vengeance of Yahweh:
Take vengeance on her;
(H)As she has done to others, so do to her.

Shoot at her! Spare no arrows,(F)
for she has sinned against the Lord.
15 Shout(G) against her on every side!
She surrenders, her towers fall,
her walls(H) are torn down.
Since this is the vengeance(I) of the Lord,
take vengeance on her;
do to her(J) as she has done to others.(K)
