¹⁴ But the Lord said to me, “These prophets are prophesying a lie in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit^(A) of their own minds.^(B)

⁶ As for you, Pashhur, and all who live in your house, you will go into captivity. You will go to Babylon.^(A) There you will die, and there you will be buried, you and all your friends to whom you prophesied lies.’”^(B)

²⁵ “I have heard what the prophets who prophesy a lie in my name have said: ‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’ ^{(A) 26} How long will this continue in the minds of the prophets prophesying lies, prophets of the deceit of their own minds?

³² I am against those who prophesy false dreams”^(A)—the Lord’s declaration—“telling them and leading my people astray with their reckless lies. It was not I who sent or commanded them, and they are of no benefit at all^(B) to these people”—this is the Lord’s declaration.
