Jeremiah 5:11

¹¹They, the house of Israel and the house of Judah,
have dealt very treacherously with Me.^(A)
This is the Lord’s declaration.

Jeremiah 5:11

New International Version

¹¹The people of Israel and the people of Judah
have been utterly unfaithful^(A) to me,”
declares the Lord.

¹⁶For Israel is as obstinate as a stubborn cow.^(A)
Can the Lord now shepherd them
like a lamb in an open meadow?^(B)

¹⁶The Israelites are stubborn,^(A)
like a stubborn heifer.^(B)
How then can the Lord pasture them
like lambs^(C) in a meadow?
