Jeremiah 49:5-7

5 Behold, I will bring [a]a fear upon thee, saith the Lord God of hosts, of all those that be about thee, and ye shall be scattered every man [b]right forth, and none shall gather him that fleeth.
6 And [c]afterward I will bring again the captivity of the children of Ammon.
7 ¶ To Edom thus saith the Lord of hosts, Is wisdom no more in [d]Teman? is counsel perished from their children? is their wisdom vanished?

5 I will bring terror on you
from all those around you,”
declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.
“Every one of you will be driven away,
and no one will gather the fugitives.(A)
6 “Yet afterward, I will restore(B) the fortunes of the Ammonites,”
declares the Lord.

“Is there no longer wisdom in Teman?(F)
Has counsel perished from the prudent?
Has their wisdom decayed?
