32 And their camels will become as plunder,
and the multitude of their livestock as spoil.
And I will scatter to every wind those who are trimmed to the side,
and from every side[a] I will bring their disaster,” declares[b] Yahweh.
33 “And Hazor will become as a lair of jackals,
a waste forever;
no one will live there,
and no son of humankind will dwell as an alien in it.”
A Message Concerning Elam
34 The word of Yahweh that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah the king of Judah, saying,[c]

I will scatter to the winds(C) those who are in distant places[a](D)
and will bring disaster on them from every side,”
declares the Lord.
33 “Hazor(E) will become a haunt of jackals,(F)
a desolate(G) place forever.
No one will live there;
no people will dwell(H) in it.”
A Message About Elam
34 This is the word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam,(I) early in the reign of Zedekiah(J) king of Judah:
