14 I have heard this message from the Lord: I have sent a messenger to call the nations to form a coalition against Edom and destroy her.

New International Version
12 This is what the Lord says: “If those who do not deserve to drink the cup(A) must drink it, why should you go unpunished?(B) You will not go unpunished, but must drink it. 13 I swear(C) by myself,” declares the Lord, “that Bozrah(D) will become a ruin and a curse,[a] an object of horror(E) and reproach;(F) and all its towns will be in ruins forever.”(G)
14 I have heard a message from the Lord;
an envoy was sent to the nations to say,
“Assemble yourselves to attack it!
Rise up for battle!”
