41 Kerioth has been captured,
And the strongholds have been seized,
So the (A)hearts of the mighty men of Moab in that day
Will be like the heart of a (B)woman in labor.
42 Moab will be (C)destroyed from being a people
Because he has (D)magnified himself against Yahweh.
43 (E)Panic and pit and pitfall are coming upon you,
O inhabitant of Moab,” declares Yahweh.

New International Version
41 Kerioth[a](A) will be captured
and the strongholds taken.
In that day the hearts of Moab’s warriors(B)
will be like the heart of a woman in labor.(C)
42 Moab will be destroyed(D) as a nation(E)
because she defied(F) the Lord.
43 Terror(G) and pit and snare(H) await you,
you people of Moab,”
declares the Lord.
