10 (A)Cursed be the one who does the work of Yahweh (B)with a slack hand,
And cursed be the one who restrains his (C)sword from blood.

11 “Moab has been (D)at ease since his youth;
He has also had (E)quiet, like wine on [a]its dregs,
And he has not been (F)emptied from vessel to vessel,
Nor has he gone into exile.
Therefore [b]he retains his flavor,
And his aroma has not changed.

12 Therefore behold, the days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “when I will send to him those who tip vessels, and they will tip him over, and they will empty his vessels and shatter [c]his jars.

    declares the Lord,
“when I will send men who pour from pitchers,
    and they will pour her out;
they will empty her pitchers
    and smash her jars.
