15 Why are thy valiant men come to nothing? they stood not: because the Lord hath overthrown them.
16 He hath multiplied them that fall, and one hath fallen upon another, and they shall say: Arise, and let us return to our own people, and to the land of our nativity, from the sword of the dove.
17 Call ye the name of Pharao king Egypt, a tumult time hath brought.

15 Why will your warriors be laid low?
They cannot stand, for the Lord will push them down.(A)
16 They will stumble(B) repeatedly;
they will fall(C) over each other.
They will say, ‘Get up, let us go back
to our own people(D) and our native lands,
away from the sword of the oppressor.’(E)
17 There they will exclaim,
‘Pharaoh king of Egypt is only a loud noise;(F)
he has missed his opportunity.(G)’
