9 Now the cistern where Ishmael had thrown all the corpses of the men he had struck down was a large one[a] that King Asa had made in the encounter with King Baasha of Israel.(A) Ishmael son of Nethaniah filled it with the slain.
10 Then Ishmael took captive all the rest of the people of Mizpah including the daughters of the king—all those who remained in Mizpah over whom Nebuzaradan, captain of the guards, had appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam. Ishmael son of Nethaniah took them captive and set off to cross over to the Ammonites.(B)

New International Version
9 Now the cistern where he threw all the bodies of the men he had killed along with Gedaliah was the one King Asa(A) had made as part of his defense(B) against Baasha(C) king of Israel. Ishmael son of Nethaniah filled it with the dead.
10 Ishmael made captives of all the rest of the people(D) who were in Mizpah—the king’s daughters(E) along with all the others who were left there, over whom Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard had appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam. Ishmael son of Nethaniah took them captive and set out to cross over to the Ammonites.(F)
11 When Johanan(G) son of Kareah and all the army officers who were with him heard about all the crimes Ishmael son of Nethaniah had committed,
