²⁰Disaster follows disaster;^(A)
the whole land lies in ruins.^(B)
In an instant my tents^(C) are destroyed,
my shelter in a moment.

²⁰Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.

⁵They go up the hill to Luhith,^(A)
weeping bitterly as they go;
on the road down to Horonaim^(B)
anguished cries over the destruction are heard.

⁵For in the going up of Luhith continual weeping shall go up; for in the going down of Horonaim the enemies have heard a cry of destruction.
