7 Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him with bronze shackles and sent him to Babylon. 8 The Chaldeans burned down the king’s palace and the houses of the people. They also broke down the walls of Jerusalem. 9 Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard,[a] carried into exile the rest of the people who remained in the city, along with those who had deserted, as well as the rest of the people.

New International Version
7 Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes(A) and bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon.(B)
8 The Babylonians[a] set fire(C) to the royal palace and the houses of the people and broke down the walls(D) of Jerusalem. 9 Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard carried into exile to Babylon the people who remained in the city, along with those who had gone over to him,(E) and the rest of the people.(F)
