7 Then he gouged out Zedekiah’s eyes, bound him in chains, and dragged him off to Babylon.
8 The Babylonians burned down the royal palace and the houses of the people, and they destroyed the Jerusalem walls. 9 Nebuzaradan the captain of the special guard rounded up the rest of the people who were left in the city, including those who had defected to the Babylonians, and deported them to Babylon.

7 Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes(A) and bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon.(B)
8 The Babylonians[a] set fire(C) to the royal palace and the houses of the people and broke down the walls(D) of Jerusalem. 9 Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard carried into exile to Babylon the people who remained in the city, along with those who had gone over to him,(E) and the rest of the people.(F)
