Jeremiah 39:15-17
The Voice
15 While Jeremiah was still confined in the court of the guard, the word of the Eternal came to him.
Eternal One: 16 Go and give this message to Ebed-melech, the Ethiopian. “This is what the Eternal, Commander of heavenly armies and God of Israel, promises you: ‘Look! Very soon I will bring disaster not prosperity on Jerusalem and her citizens as I warned through Jeremiah. And you, Ebed-melech, will see all this happen with your own eyes. 17 But do not worry, for I will rescue you on that day so that you will not be taken prisoner by those you fear.

New International Version
15 While Jeremiah had been confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the Lord came to him: 16 “Go and tell Ebed-Melek(A) the Cushite, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I am about to fulfill my words(B) against this city—words concerning disaster,(C) not prosperity. At that time they will be fulfilled before your eyes. 17 But I will rescue(D) you on that day, declares the Lord; you will not be given into the hands of those you fear.
