Jeremiah 37:15-17

15 Wherefore the princes were angry with Jeremiah, and smote him, and laid him in prison in the house of Jehonathan the Scribe: for they had made that the [a]prison.
16 When Jeremiah was entered into the dungeon, and into the prisons, and had remained there a long time,
17 Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out, and the king asked him secretly, in his house, and said, Is there any word from the Lord? And Jeremiah said, Yea: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babel.

New International Version
15 They were angry with Jeremiah and had him beaten(A) and imprisoned(B) in the house(C) of Jonathan the secretary, which they had made into a prison.
16 Jeremiah was put into a vaulted cell in a dungeon, where he remained a long time. 17 Then King Zedekiah sent(D) for him and had him brought to the palace, where he asked(E) him privately,(F) “Is there any word from the Lord?”
“Yes,” Jeremiah replied, “you will be delivered(G) into the hands of the king of Babylon.”
