3 It (A)may be that the house of Judah will hear all the adversities which I purpose to bring upon them, that everyone may (B)turn from his evil way, that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.”
4 Then Jeremiah (C)called Baruch the son of Neriah; and (D)Baruch wrote on a scroll of a book, [a]at the instruction of Jeremiah, all the words of the Lord which He had spoken to him. 5 And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, “I am confined, I cannot go into the house of the Lord.

3 Perhaps(A) when the people of Judah hear(B) about every disaster I plan to inflict on them, they will each turn(C) from their wicked ways; then I will forgive(D) their wickedness and their sin.”
4 So Jeremiah called Baruch(E) son of Neriah,(F) and while Jeremiah dictated(G) all the words the Lord had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them on the scroll.(H) 5 Then Jeremiah told Baruch, “I am restricted; I am not allowed to go to the Lord’s temple.
