² “Go to the house of the ^(A)Rechabites and speak with them and bring them to the house of the Lord, into one of ^(B)the chambers; then offer them wine to drink.”

^5 (A)He also built a structure^[a] against the wall of the house, running around the walls of the house, both the nave and ^(B)the inner sanctuary. And he made ^(C)side chambers all around. ⁶ The lowest story^[b] was five cubits broad, the middle one was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad. For around the outside of the house he made offsets on the wall in order that the supporting beams should not be inserted into the walls of the house.

²⁶ for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted to be over ^(A)the chambers and the treasures of the house of God.

³³ Now these, the ^(A)singers, the heads of fathers' houses of the Levites, were in the chambers of the temple free from other service, for they were on duty day and night.
