38 Then they will be my people, and I will be their God. 39 I will give them a single purpose in life: to honor me for all time, for their own good and the good of their descendants. 40 I will make an eternal covenant with them. I will never stop doing good things for them, and I will make them fear me with all their heart, so that they will never turn away from me.

38 They will be my people,(A) and I will be their God. 39 I will give them singleness(B) of heart and action, so that they will always fear(C) me and that all will then go well for them and for their children after them. 40 I will make an everlasting covenant(D) with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire(E) them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.(F)
