Jeremiah 32:32-34

32 I will destroy it. This is because of the evil the people of Israel and Judah have done. The people, their kings and officers have made me angry. Their priests and prophets have made me angry. All the men of Judah and the people of Jerusalem have made me angry. 33 They turned their backs to me. I tried to teach them again and again. But they wouldn’t listen to me. I tried to correct them, but they wouldn’t listen. 34 They put their hated idols in the place where I have chosen to be worshiped. In this way they made it unclean.

New International Version
32 The people of Israel and Judah have provoked(A) me by all the evil(B) they have done—they, their kings and officials,(C) their priests and prophets, the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem. 33 They turned their backs(D) to me and not their faces; though I taught(E) them again and again, they would not listen or respond to discipline.(F) 34 They set up their vile images(G) in the house that bears my Name(H) and defiled(I) it.
