36 “If these laws change before Me, then the children of Israel will stop being a nation before Me forever.” 37 The Lord says, “If one can find out how wide the heavens are, and look through the deepest places of the earth, then I will send all the children of Israel away from Me for all that they have done,” says the Lord.
38 “See, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “when the city will be built again for the Lord from the tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate.

36 “Only if these decrees(A) vanish from my sight,”
declares the Lord,
“will Israel(B) ever cease
being a nation before me.”
37 This is what the Lord says:
“Only if the heavens above can be measured(C)
and the foundations of the earth below be searched out
will I reject(D) all the descendants of Israel
because of all they have done,”
declares the Lord.
38 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when this city will be rebuilt(E) for me from the Tower of Hananel(F) to the Corner Gate.(G)
