The people of Jacob will be at rest again;
    no one will frighten them.
11 I am with you and will ·save [rescue] you,”
    says the Lord.

    where I scattered you,
    but I will not ·completely destroy you [bring you to an end].
I will ·punish [discipline] you ·fairly [with justice],
    but I will ·still punish you [L not leave you unpunished; 46:27–28].”

    declares the Lord.
‘Though I completely destroy all the nations
    among which I scatter you,
    I will not completely destroy(I) you.
I will discipline(J) you but only in due measure;
    I will not let you go entirely unpunished.’(K)
