14 (A)All your lovers have forgotten you;
They do not seek you;
For I have wounded you with the wound (B)of an enemy,
With the chastisement (C)of a cruel one,
For the multitude of your iniquities,
(D)Because your sins have increased.
15 Why (E)do you cry about your affliction?
Your sorrow is incurable.
Because of the multitude of your iniquities,
Because your sins have increased,
I have done these things to you.
16 ‘Therefore all those who devour you (F)shall be devoured;
And all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into (G)captivity;
Those who plunder you shall become (H)plunder,
And all who prey upon you I will make a (I)prey.

they care nothing for you.
I have struck you as an enemy(B) would
and punished you as would the cruel,(C)
because your guilt is so great
and your sins(D) so many.
15 Why do you cry out over your wound,
your pain that has no cure?(E)
Because of your great guilt and many sins
I have done these things to you.(F)
