¹⁷ At that time Jerusalem will be called The Lord’s Throne,^(A) and all the nations will be gathered to it,^(B) to the name of the Lord in Jerusalem.^(C) They will cease to follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts.

¹⁴ Instead, they followed the stubbornness of their hearts^(A) and followed the Baals as their ancestors taught them.”^(B)

¹² You did more evil than your ancestors.^(A) Look, each one of you was following the stubbornness of his evil heart, not obeying me.

¹² But they will say, ‘It’s hopeless.^(A) We will continue to follow our plans, and each of us will continue to act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’”

⁷ For when anyone from the house of Israel or from the aliens who reside in Israel separates himself from me, setting up idols in his heart and putting his sinful stumbling block in front of himself, and then comes to the prophet to inquire of me, I, the Lord, will answer him myself.
