31 “Send to all of the captives, saying, ‘Yahweh says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: “Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I didn’t send him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie;” 32 therefore Yahweh says, “Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his offspring. He will not have a man to dwell among this people. He won’t see the good that I will do to my people,” says Yahweh, “because he has spoken rebellion against Yahweh.”’”

31 “Send this message to all the exiles: ‘This is what the Lord says about Shemaiah(A) the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, even though I did not send(B) him, and has persuaded you to trust in lies, 32 this is what the Lord says: I will surely punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his descendants.(C) He will have no one left among this people, nor will he see the good(D) things I will do for my people, declares the Lord, because he has preached rebellion(E) against me.’”
