15 Then Jeremiah the prophet said to Hananiah the prophet, “Listen now, Hananiah, Yahweh has not sent you, and (A)you have made this people trust in a lie. 16 Therefore thus says Yahweh, ‘(B)Behold, I am about to [a]remove you from the face of the earth. This year you are going to (C)die because you have (D)spoken rebellion against Yahweh.’”
17 So Hananiah the prophet died in the same year in the seventh month.

15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “Listen, Hananiah! The Lord has not sent(A) you, yet you have persuaded this nation to trust in lies.(B) 16 Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘I am about to remove you from the face of the earth.(C) This very year you are going to die,(D) because you have preached rebellion(E) against the Lord.’”
17 In the seventh month of that same year, Hananiah the prophet died.(F)
