Jeremiah 24:5-7

5 “Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, ‘Like these good figs, so I will regard as good the exiles[a] of Judah whom I have sent away from this place to the land of the Chaldeans. 6 For I will set my eyes[b] on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land. And I will build them and not annihilate them, and I will plant them and not uproot them. 7 And I will give to them a heart to know me, that I am Yahweh, and they will be my people,[c] and I will be their God,[d] for they will return to me with the whole of their heart.

5 “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Like these good figs, I regard as good the exiles from Judah, whom I sent(A) away from this place to the land of the Babylonians.[a] 6 My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back(B) to this land. I will build(C) them up and not tear them down; I will plant(D) them and not uproot them. 7 I will give them a heart to know(E) me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people,(F) and I will be their God, for they will return(G) to me with all their heart.(H)
