Jeremiah 22:3-5
Tree of Life Version
3 Thus says Adonai: ‘Execute justice and righteousness. Rescue the one who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor. Do not mistreat or do violence to the stranger, the fatherless or the widow. Do not shed innocent blood in this place. 4 For if you really carry out this word, then through the gates of this palace will enter kings sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses—himself, his servants, and his people. 5 But if you will not obey these words, I swear by Myself,’ declares Adonai, ‘that this palace will become a ruin.’”

Jeremiah 22:3-5
New International Version
3 This is what the Lord says: Do what is just(A) and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor(B) the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow,(C) and do not shed innocent blood(D) in this place. 4 For if you are careful to carry out these commands, then kings(E) who sit on David’s throne will come through the gates of this palace, riding in chariots and on horses, accompanied by their officials and their people. 5 But if you do not obey(F) these commands, declares the Lord, I swear(G) by myself that this palace will become a ruin.’”
