Jeremiah 22:16

¹⁶^(A)He judged the cause of the poor and needy;
^(B)then it was well.
Is not this ^(C)to know me?
declares the Lord.

¹⁶He defended the cause of the poor and needy,^(A)
and so all went well.
Is that not what it means to know^(B) me?”
declares the Lord.

¹⁷    learn to do good;
^(A)seek justice,
    correct oppression;
^(B)bring justice to the fatherless,
    plead the widow's cause.

¹⁷Learn to do right;^(A) seek justice.^(B)
Defend the oppressed.^[a]^(C)
Take up the cause of the fatherless;^(D)
