¹⁷ Have you not brought this on yourself^(A)
by abandoning the Lord your God
while He was leading you along the way?

¹⁹ Your own evil will discipline you;^(A)
your own apostasies will reprimand you.
Think it over and see how evil and bitter^(B) it is
for you to abandon the Lord your God
and to have no fear of Me.
This is the declaration
of the Lord God of Hosts.

6 Come, let us return to the Lord.^(A)
For He has torn us,^(B)
and He will heal us;^(C)
He has wounded us,
and He will bind up our wounds.^(D)
2 He will revive us after two days,^(E)
and on the third day He will raise us up
so we can live in His presence.^(F)
